With a law degree and an MBA in finance; over 20 years of investing in real estate; and as a long time Hoboken property owner and resident; Lori is a step ahead of other agents.  Her background affords her the edge in facilitating the sale of properties.  Not surprisingly, Lori Turoff earned the New Jersey Association of Realtors "Circle of Excellence" Silver Sales Award for 2010 and 2009 and Bronze for 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2004.  She was invited to the Prudential President's Circle in 2009, representing the top 5% of all Prudential agents world wide.  In 2009 Lori closed more deals with more buyers than any other agent in Hoboken and is among the top 3 agents in 2010.  She is an Accredited Staging Professional.

Lori received a degree in Economics and Marketing from St. John's University.  She graduated magna cum laude  from Boston University School of Law in 1983 and was an editor of the Law Review.  She also earned an MBA in Finance from the George Washington University in 1989 while she clerked for Judge N. H. Johnson, the Chief Judge of the Federal District Court of the District of Columbia.  After her clerkship, Lori joined the Wall Street law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell as an associate specializing in corporate transactions and was later in-house counsel for AT&T. 

In her spare time Lori travels frequently to Italy and she speaks fluent Italian.  She is dedicated to her yoga practice and her dog, Sempai.  

After 25+ years on Wall Street, Howard Turoff joined Lori to form the Turoff Realty Team.  Howard specializes in investment properties in Hoboken.  He has solid business and financial experience and owns and manages numerous rental properties.  He knows of your concerns from years of first hand experience.

Howard graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Accounting.  He is a C.P.A. and began his accounting career at Price Waterhouse.  He also worked at Paine Webber, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and for 15 years was a First Vice President and the Manager of the Executive Services Department at Prudential Securities.  Howard is a Sensei of GoJu-Ryu Karate and was the head of the Martial Arts program at the YMCA in Hoboken.  He spends his free time with Sempai at our home in the Upper Delaware River Valley in Sullivan County, New York.

In 1992, Lori and Howard founded, and are the directors of, La Corsa Tours an adventure travel company offering bike tours in Europe.   La Corsa is in its 18th year in business.
